About Me

Rachel Finklestein
Here is yet another blog to add to my collection! This one will not only focus on my art (both personal pieces and commissioned work), but also, hopefully, expand into the world of collaborative art making and art sharing. Throughout all of my journeys - both internal and external - I have found art-making to be a wonderful hobby, a fantastic method of self-expression, a healing tool, and a shared universal language. While I generally make art with a pen or a pencil and paper, others do so with clay, wood, metal, spoken words, movement and rhythm, music... In effect, we are all artists with creations to share, songs to sing and stories to tell. In recognizing this, I hope to create a space where people can build and share and grow together with their art.
